HELLO GUYS!!! today was our second official independence day (after the mummies left boohoo) after our first official night staying at unilodge!!! WHOOHOOO! we kinda just finished unpacking. took FOREVER because we had soooo much stuff and so little space to put them! and seriously my storage space is not maximised because there is this very high cupboard in the kitchen that i cant really reach easi... ANYWAYS WE HV FINISHED UNPACKING but there was very little stuff to eat (i survived on sour cream and chives biscuits for both supper AND breakfast ==) SARA had it worse! she didnt bring her cups and her water jug with filter up to her room, and her kettle chose this very opportune moment to NOT WORK so the poor girl had to DRINK TAP WATER WITH HER CUPPED HANDS HAHAHA! this is partly her fault because she wouldnt come to my room to pick her stuff up even when i told her to! SO ER. poor thing yes.
so we decided that we HAD to go and buy some groceries! and a basketball because we are going to be so very bored this week with nothing to do (basketball was quite high on the priority list). and there are basketball courts in a park abt a 10 minutes walk away frm here! SHO WE SET OFF TO EASTGARDENS SHOPPING MALL like. i think abt 3 suburbs away. we took the bus! so after buying our groceries, we went up to the sports shop ONLY TO FIND TAHT IT WAS CLOSED. HOMG. the stupid shops here close so early!! AT 5 O CLOCK! my goodness. theres still a good 2+ hours more of daylight why do ozzies get off frm work so early == WE WERE VERY UPSET. because we being kiamsiap ppl dont want to go to the mall so often because it would mean FOUR TRAVEL TEN TRIPS to and fro! (bus card- we must CHOP twice per trip, very ex)
so we were going down the escalator AIYO-ing and AIYA-ing in malaysian cinapek fashion and then this very action dude frm the telechoice shop we met last week when we were buying our phone plans said EXCUSE ME CAN I GET BY, which was quite embarrassing because i was in the middle of a particularly long AIYOOOOOO HAHAH! i think you had to be there, because this dude is quite full of himself and just annoys us abit in general =D
AND THEN we complained and waddled all the way to the bus stop carrying all our groceries and then OHH WHAT IS THIS!! the 400 bus!! which we need to take back to our place! so we tried to WADDLE ABIT FASTER wihch was quite sad because all our arms were full AND THEN IT SLOWLY MOVES AWAAAAAAAAY!! POOFT! we were very annoyed by then so we sat down on the bus stop with grumpy faces. ahahha! very cacat la.
anyways theres this dude in unilodge who seems perasan and isnt very friendly but we KEEP bumping into him!! so its quite awkward la. dunno if he gets the impression that sara likes him because that day when we bumped into him in the lift she was giggling away because she was very hyper (NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM) but he seems to project this air of OH-IT-MUST-BE-BECAUSE-SHE-LIKES-ME-ness so we cant stand him =D i would take a pic of him for u guys but that would only reaffirm this misconception hehehe. it would make me look like a FANGIRL! HOW MORTIFYING! i only do that at jason mraz concerts hahahah =)
so then me and sara went jogging at this park nearby the hostel! I TIHNK I AM VERY UNFIT DUDES. EEEEEEEEK! we promised ourselves that we shall go more often in order to get fit! because our current state (okay more mine than sara's, she's still not too bad) IS TERRIBLE! hahahh aiyo.
AND THAT WAS DINNER! not so bad actually i tell you. rem i told you guys i'd blog abt sara and zhiyen's FIRST COOKING TOGETHER? =D hehehe this is not really the FIRST la but its the first at our hostel! so anyways we cooked black pepper chicken with onions HEHHEH and tomyam soup!! the caesar salad was frm our greedy overordering at lunch which we ended up not touching because we stuffed ourselves since we were hungry frm not eating any proper breakfast hehehhe! SO ANYWAYS DINNER WAS SUCCESSFUL!
OHH EXCEPT sara was abit overzealous in adding tomatoes to the tomyam
sara: "OHH LOOK AT THE TOMATOES!! THEYRE SO CUTE AND SMALL!! im gonna put more in cos theyre so cute. KYAAAAAAA!"
zhiyen: .... okay whatev
then later we discovered that she really DID put too many tomatoes =D hahaha AH WELL!
OO BTW LOOKY THAT PEOPLE! my photo frame has a nice little place on my desk right in between the pancake mix and the rice cooker!! heeheeee i love you guys =)
