Yes we has been in limbo!! Kind of a nothingness.. In btw skl and collegee. So i also feel obligated to blog one last time as FREE MEN. or women. This be the last few hours of us being COLLEGELESS/STRESSLESS and free to do anything we want on a whim. Sniff. The next time u hear from us will be as FULLY FLEDGED COLLEGE GOERS. How about that man? After FOUR WHOLE MONTHS.

I've been getting like sudden urges to do hw/study/go to class. But now that it'll all actually start happening TOMORROW i suddenly dont feel like going to skl anymore. I want another four months!! Hahhaha.

Anyway today as one last FLING before starting col, me, yen and yiin (third musketeer in aussie as my dad says) decided to have a PICNIC in the park!! How quaint right? Alas, when we woke up it was drizzling abit. More like spattering. And we were grumbling like stuuupid sydney rain stopping us with a mere DRIZZLE, it doesnt even honour us by ruining our picnic with a respectable thunderstorm. And JUST THEN it POURED. like a WAVE of rain. haha! BUT that didnt deter us!! We walked at LEAST 2 km in the pouring rain and the cold wet slimyy weather to put together our picnic. hohoho. With one flimsy umbrella and the 3 of us huddling together. our umbrella was a good deal lower than other ppl's. i think we prob looked like a LOW hanging black cloud *black umbrella* with 3 pairs of legs scurrying about beneath it. Heheh.

SO this is how we spent our final few hours of FREEEEDOM. We decided to go out with a BANG!! Hahaha. Check out our amazing gastronomical skills. Who knew??

Life is quite hectic for me now. A lot of assignments are dued around the same time. But anywayz, i finally went for my undang amali!! Heheh Be proud of me =D I didnt know we werent suppose to wear shorts. So when i went to register the guy was like ' Oh, u cannot wear shorts.' I kinda went O.o U noe when u planned to do smth den juz because u wore shorts u couldnt listen to undang. Luckily i stayed near the centre so i went home quickly changed to jeans. When i reached he was like 'AIYAA!! Y u wear slippers??' Sorry lahhh!!! U also din tell meee... Heheh. Of coz i din say dat. i was like uhhh.... But he said nvm.. Den lined up to register n went to class. I was kinda surprised to see my class to hv ppl from diff ages. I m serious! There is this man who looks 50++ i think. His hair was all white, n there was a few women in their late twenties i think... I thought it was goin to be boring man.. cause a lot ppl told me to prepare entertainment n stuff.. So i brought a storybook n my ipod! i did use them but not during the kursus la. I managed to finish the whole kursus without feeling sleepy!! HEHE. But the guy din teach much on signs n stuff... So i suppose i hv to study myself? I might take my undang test this sunday. Hmm.... See how things turn out.

Today I had LAN (Malaysian Studies) presentation, Song of unity. Basically we hv to sing a song about unity lor... Alanna n I were the singers!! We used Stay by Estrella. I think we did quite well cause everyone clapped for us!! HAHA i was so proud! Here is the video clip! My friend recorded it for me but the quality isnt good.

college's been cool so far
but making new friends seem so alien to me all of a sudden!
I JUST CANNOT REMEMBER PEOPLE. i mess up all their names and faces, tis terrible.
but im totally making an effort ok?
it's still hard to mingle thought, because i already know so many wms ppl here.

anyways, my timetable's really FREE. from monday to thursday, i have at least 2 and a half hours break right smack in the middle of my timetable, when i wander around the campus aimlessly searching for someone i can talk with. sob sob sob. well actually that's just the first hour of my tuesday and thursday's break. AFTER THAT, the gambling fest begins, oh yes.

Before you jump to the conclusion that psychology is PLAY-TIME, he was actually showing is the SOCIAL IDENTITY THEORY. how pro does that sound?
So he was telling us that there will be prejudice no matter what, when a groups are formed. so he divided us to Gals and Boys, and we were to draw a tree, house, family, and car.
I drew for the gals (right) and ming hui drew for the guys (left).
after that we had to rate both the drawings.

you can see some ratings here... and the hot mom lol (very important).

well, all the gals gave 10/10 for our own drawing and around 2.5/10 for the guys. that was the ideal result, that proves that people gave more favouritism towards their own group.

the guys pretty much admitted defeat HAHAH. Mr. Loo said the results were scrwed up due to the gap in skillz!

and im pretty much known as The SAD1ST in psych class.

Mr Loo : would you electrocute someone with 450V without knowing whether he'll survive or not, just because the experimenter told you to?
Me : uh yea.
Mr Loo : YOU'RE A SAD1ST.

it was something along those lines, but it snowballed from there. so whenever he mentions "UNLESS YOU'RE A SAD1ST", i can feel all eyes looking at me.

in short, psychology class rocks. :D

something something something guy who's too big for his BED!

it is RAINING IN SYDNAYYYYY!!!

homg but it is such a pathetic shower. they think THIS is a THUNDERSTORM?? YESTERDAY LUMIN AND I TOOK A WALK TO THE UNI! we went to find our cousin jian yung who was in the com lab which wasnt really an easy feat because there was some slight miscommunication here and there

WALLAHH~ then we all walked up to the upper campus (it is called that because it is sitting on the top of a HILL and can only be accessed by ENDLESS STEPS) to make our student ID cards! unfortunately we couldnt make them yet hehe. but jian yung renewed his tho! then we went to hv LUNCH!

OO we also DID make a trip to the library! EHHE. which has a WHOPPING 10 FLOORS! imagine 10 floors of BOOKS!! HAHA the palce was so quiet and full of people studying and doing work and what not and we were being jakuns looking at all the books! we even amused ourselves by taking stupid photos and then giggling our heads off =D we even took a pic of this dude sleeping in the library just for KICKS hehehe. WELL we are STILL ALLOWED TO BE BUMMERS! since we hvn actually started school yet! SO WE MIGHT AS WELL ENJOY IT! cos soon we are to be a part of the people working their asses off, ink smudges on our fingers and heads propped up on our elbows.

There is this SMELL in the lift and the lift corridor that i ALWAYS associate with tat lift guy. hahah! AIYAH. It is not a particularly nice smell.

Though my attempt at boiling potato.. Not so much. Is it My fault the stupid potato wouldnt boil properly?! Its own fault it turned mushy outside n hard inside, right? Nothing to do with me. stups.

Hmm back to the lift guy. He SEMI redeemed himself today. Yes 4th day in a row i meet him. Just when i decided to totally become FED UP with him. Now im even more fed up he won't let me be really n truly fed up with him. Cause he had to go and be SORT of nice today. See we went in to the lift corridor behind him and were walking kinda slowly and he turned the corner and reached the lift first. So he entered and i thought he mustve gone up first. GRR. And just when i was thinking, HAH this is gonna give me REAL SOLID GROUND to be fed up with him, he goes and holds the lift for us. what is this!! So uncooperative. Hahaha. I'm beginning to think that maybe he has a twin man. BUT. He is gonna have to do a LOT bttr than just holding a lift to redeem himself hahaha.

Hehe ok mebbe im blowing this out of proportion but its fun to be so prejudiced against him xD its prob not that bad lah. Maybe he just doesnt know how to be friendly. Oh well. We have nothing bttr to do other than people watch! Hahhah. There are a LOT of people to watch. Lol. Oh yes and do SECRET pool training too. There is this bunch of hongkies who take over the common room every evening and play pool. So we doing secret pool training while they all at skl HOHOHO. diabolical. we are gonna MUTINY hehee.

NIGHT ppl. this is a crappy post. i need to buy more story books. i only have ONE. i bought it at the airport and made it last a week and a half! How's that for being disciplined and thrifty eh? Hehe. I have never had so few books to read in my life =( i think im going through withdrawal. sniff. Shall have to go out and hunt for bargain books. Heh. Well yes! That twas our first day. Hahha we had SUCH a series of misfortunes man!!

First was the stuupid RebelSports shop for our ALL IMPORTANT bball. We actually set FOOT into the shop n they went OHH SORRY WE'RE CLOSED IN THAT AUSSIE DRAWL. And we were there standing at the entrance of the shop, toting shopping bags galore. A sad picture indeed heh heh. Sigh that bball was a key ingredient to our NONboredom this week. Haha now the BIG question is whether to waste 8 AUS$ going to and back to get d bball. EIGHT. how difficult. Haha.

And it was NO JOKE carrying all those bags ok! we went GREEN. We din use plastic bags but brought our own cloth bags from home hohoho. Funny how we only go green here in aus. If we did these things in msia we would be deemed TREE LOVING FREAKS. But we SHOULD go green. yeshh i think i will. And maybe another reason we went green was because d plastic bags they give us are so FLIMSY and we want to be spared d embarrassment of the bag breaking and our canned tuna rolling down the bus aisle. Heheh

And then right after we were WHAMMIED by the closing of the RebelSports shop i went and dropped my wallet as i was going to get onto the bus cause i was carrying so many things! And i dunno why, *maybe i was influenced by the MANY MANY cinapek hongkies here* i went, " AIYA." HAHA oh sheet. How embarrassing also. Heh. but that Aiya still doesnt beat zyen's escalator AIYOOO. hehe! we are gonna come back as cinapeks so READY yourselves ppl.

AND THAT GUY IN THE LIFT. we shall refer to him as action lift guy(ALGIE)okay! THIS ALGIE. IS INFURIATING ME. we have bumped into him in the lift 3 times in 3 days! What is this. first day he was quite nice like we made idle conversation. Then the next day and today he was so freakin action! i know action aint really a word but it describes him to a T! geez! Ok fine yest i was so high n me, yen n my cousin were laughing our heads off. me more than them i dunno why i found it so hilarious! AANYWAY so u read about the him thinking i am a FANGIRL. stupid egoistical full of himself FELLA. And then today. HOOMMG. i was going down in the lift and like stoning so when the doors opened OF COURSE I WALKED OUT RIGHT. and it turned out HE, ALGIE summoned the lift to HIS floor and i... i walked out to his floor =.= then i realised and was like "ooh shit" HEH. then i quickly went back in and it was SO AWKWARD. then he said "wrong floor" in that monotonous DUH voice. I KNOW, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. UGH. now he must think im a fangirl AND a bimbo. this le sucks. sucketh big time. and then cause i was ahead of him i opened d door for him and he gave that.. that FACE. how to describe. like HM-wow-this-girl-must-REALLY-like-me-she-opened-d-door-for-me-im-SUCH-a-stud-raising-eyebrows-to-himself-and-half-smirking-kinda-look. OH THE INSUFFERABLE.INTOLERABLE.RUBBING ME THE WRONG WAY TWAT.

phew. anyway as i was signing the form to complain about my kettle, this guy came to sign in (under 18s have to sign in everynighht before 10) and i was gonna take awhile so i offered him the pen. And he was like no no you use it first but in the end i insisted. But STILL. A NICE GUY. A LITTLE RAY OF HOPE in the midst of ALL THESE ACTION GUYS. ahaha and i think he was MSIAN. hoho. a fellow msian! a little wonder. Hahah!

and the park is nearer than we thought but also further than we expected. We thought it was far but we thought we could actually JOG there! haha!! little did we know. 30% jogging 70% walking there was pratically our entire exercise. HEHE. not that it was far just that we are not so FI*. Sniff. haha! slowly slowly! But the park is SOO NICE. 6 bball courts, netball courts and a HUGE EXPANSE OF GREEN GRASS. whoa. wonderful. will take pics of it another day! unfortunately we dont have u guys to enjoy it with. sniffles. haha.

well today i just found out my bros cried at home after i left!! i am amazed. it is very rare to cry in my family. hahah! my good ole bros. I LOVE U GUYS, hear that! Hahah annoying as they are =] My own two sasukes' at home hehe - as coined by zyen! I think no one will understand this but them. xD eh,twerps? ahha.

oh dear this was meant to be a short post. oh well! hehee.

HELLO GUYS!!! today was our second official independence day (after the mummies left boohoo) after our first official night staying at unilodge!!! WHOOHOOO! we kinda just finished unpacking. took FOREVER because we had soooo much stuff and so little space to put them! and seriously my storage space is not maximised because there is this very high cupboard in the kitchen that i cant really reach easi... ANYWAYS WE HV FINISHED UNPACKING but there was very little stuff to eat (i survived on sour cream and chives biscuits for both supper AND breakfast ==) SARA had it worse! she didnt bring her cups and her water jug with filter up to her room, and her kettle chose this very opportune moment to NOT WORK so the poor girl had to DRINK TAP WATER WITH HER CUPPED HANDS HAHAHA! this is partly her fault because she wouldnt come to my room to pick her stuff up even when i told her to! SO ER. poor thing yes.

so we decided that we HAD to go and buy some groceries! and a basketball because we are going to be so very bored this week with nothing to do (basketball was quite high on the priority list). and there are basketball courts in a park abt a 10 minutes walk away frm here! SHO WE SET OFF TO EASTGARDENS SHOPPING MALL like. i think abt 3 suburbs away. we took the bus! so after buying our groceries, we went up to the sports shop ONLY TO FIND TAHT IT WAS CLOSED. HOMG. the stupid shops here close so early!! AT 5 O CLOCK! my goodness. theres still a good 2+ hours more of daylight why do ozzies get off frm work so early == WE WERE VERY UPSET. because we being kiamsiap ppl dont want to go to the mall so often because it would mean FOUR TRAVEL TEN TRIPS to and fro! (bus card- we must CHOP twice per trip, very ex)

so we were going down the escalator AIYO-ing and AIYA-ing in malaysian cinapek fashion and then this very action dude frm the telechoice shop we met last week when we were buying our phone plans said EXCUSE ME CAN I GET BY, which was quite embarrassing because i was in the middle of a particularly long AIYOOOOOO HAHAH! i think you had to be there, because this dude is quite full of himself and just annoys us abit in general =D

AND THEN we complained and waddled all the way to the bus stop carrying all our groceries and then OHH WHAT IS THIS!! the 400 bus!! which we need to take back to our place! so we tried to WADDLE ABIT FASTER wihch was quite sad because all our arms were full AND THEN IT SLOWLY MOVES AWAAAAAAAAY!! POOFT! we were very annoyed by then so we sat down on the bus stop with grumpy faces. ahahha! very cacat la.

anyways theres this dude in unilodge who seems perasan and isnt very friendly but we KEEP bumping into him!! so its quite awkward la. dunno if he gets the impression that sara likes him because that day when we bumped into him in the lift she was giggling away because she was very hyper (NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM) but he seems to project this air of OH-IT-MUST-BE-BECAUSE-SHE-LIKES-ME-ness so we cant stand him =D i would take a pic of him for u guys but that would only reaffirm this misconception hehehe. it would make me look like a FANGIRL! HOW MORTIFYING! i only do that at jason mraz concerts hahahah =)

so then me and sara went jogging at this park nearby the hostel! I TIHNK I AM VERY UNFIT DUDES. EEEEEEEEK! we promised ourselves that we shall go more often in order to get fit! because our current state (okay more mine than sara's, she's still not too bad) IS TERRIBLE! hahahh aiyo.


AND THAT WAS DINNER! not so bad actually i tell you. rem i told you guys i'd blog abt sara and zhiyen's FIRST COOKING TOGETHER? =D hehehe this is not really the FIRST la but its the first at our hostel! so anyways we cooked black pepper chicken with onions HEHHEH and tomyam soup!! the caesar salad was frm our greedy overordering at lunch which we ended up not touching because we stuffed ourselves since we were hungry frm not eating any proper breakfast hehehhe! SO ANYWAYS DINNER WAS SUCCESSFUL!

OHH EXCEPT sara was abit overzealous in adding tomatoes to the tomyam

sara: "OHH LOOK AT THE TOMATOES!! THEYRE SO CUTE AND SMALL!! im gonna put more in cos theyre so cute. KYAAAAAAA!"

then later we discovered that she really DID put too many tomatoes =D hahaha AH WELL!

Summary
Many believe that schizotypal personality disorder represents mild schizophrenia. The disorder is characterized by odd forms of thinking and perceiving, and individuals with this disorder often seek isolation from others. They generally engage in eccentric behavior and have difficulty concentrating for long periods of time. Their speech is often over elaborate and difficult to follow.

- Difficult to follow speech patterns
- Feelings of anxiety in social situations
- Suspiciousness and paranoia
- Odd beliefs or magical thinking

Heyyy!! Today i spent the whole day juz on curricular activites mann!! Woke up at 8 in the morning. After doing my laundry [no choice... All alone at home. =( ] , i left for college around 8.45. I joined this club called MADU. Make A Difference United. So what we actually do is teach orphans to read and write. Because it was our first time so we din do much. We only played around with the kids. Some of them were really cutee!! haha. Some of them including indians go to chinese schools, so i was like speakin mandrine to them! Cool ehh?? HAHA.

I look kinda weird in the pic cause i was talkin. Hehe Just dun look at me. The girl next to me is vry cute!! her name is Jia man.

So after 12, the kids left and Alanna (the pres for MADU), kat n me waited got ready for the sky trekking. Heheh.. So, we were bored n started talkin until ppl came... So, suddenly caroline (donkeyyy) said she wants tissue. So, someone came up with this idea of stealing the whole tissue roll from the toilet... So, we got a whole roll of tissue. I wont say who got it n where. Haha. Later we kena caught. Hehe. We got a pic but i cropped it.

Anywayz, the tissue did helped us in some ways. HAHA. So, later we took the bus to Taman Pertanian Malaysia. I was quite surprised dat the skytrekkin was at the Taman Pertanian Malaysia.

Haha.. So, after we reached there, filled up some forms, put our stuff in the lockers n we were given this... belt thingy that we have to wear it over our legs.. Just like an XL size diaper but... uh... i duno how to describe. but it feels weird at first. U noe.. like there's smth fasten over ur legs... Later, we went for warm ups. The instructor taught us how to use the ropes how to do challenges... Zyen & Sara.. We saw ze french guy!! But he wasnt our instructor. HAHA... Our instructor was this Taylorian and i heard him boasting he's the youngest instructor there. HAHA

After the warm up my arms actually hurt... because we had to climb the web. So later we had to prepare for the REAL sky trekking. The very first challenge was actually climbing up a 13m stairs. It looked ok, but when i was climbing it i was like... 'I m super super unfit!' cause i my arms were tired, i was sweating.... =/ i was glad when i reached the top!! HAHA...

It looks kinda short from here cause i shot it from a long distance. So we had a lot of different courses, we walked on webs, planks, flying foxes, did the tarzan jump and a lot more. I was a bit shaky at first but things got better. During my first flying fox, i think i held the rope wrongly so i did hurt my nail... Till now it still kinda hurt when i press it. Well... It was reallly fun.. We went through 20 challenges in total. Before some challenges, they looked scary but when u do it, it's really fun! Haha.. If i get a chance to go back i would really like to do it again!! LOL. I am really glad dat kay hwa had this club and organized this activity! i think after this activity, i think i shud hv gained some muscles on my arms?? HAHA.. But after all this fun, my hands were really terrible. Cause my hand wasnt in a good condition n the ropes were very rough. I did hurt my right hand n had a few holes on it already. Haha..

Dat's all for the post now.. I m takin too long. LOL. Watching tv, chatting n blogging at the same time.... OK ciaoz!! =)

On the 15th of March 2009, 9.10pm. My grandfather passed away. No I won't post any pics. I guess it's just to get it all out of my system for the very last time because today was his funeral.
And no need for condolences either coz we know he went away peacefully and he doesn't have to suffer anymore. =)

So yeaa, i'm getting ragged.
I need to collect 40 signatures from my seniors. but not without doing something stupid for some of em.

so far, i had to do a chicken dance, tell a guy he'll look hot in his 20s, hug a different guy, kiss a gal on her cheek without warning her beforehand ( ok i tried! i bend over and she freaked out and ran away! i still got signed for tht), slap the SAME gal's ass (she prolly thinks i'm a perv now, even though i apologized) and flirt with some guy on the phone (the seniors told me what to say when i said i nvr flirt b4 lol!).

it was kinda fun in the beginning, but i realized that's it more fun watching the other people get ragged! so eheh, i give up. i will be at the student council's mercy!

and whoo! right after i posted our hard-earned salary (haha), there was a SUDDEN FLOOD OF POSTS. nice guys!

WELL! we are here. AND IT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE KL. haha! there are more BLACK HEADS THAN ANY OTHER COLOUR HEADS. I know how that sounds. And yes there ARE more black heads too. Its IMPOSSIBLE to squeeze them. There are SO MANY CINA RESTAURANTS NEAR MY COUSIN'S APARTMENT. And i dunno if im always hungry or the food is REALLY REALLY GOOD. My cousin has been taking us ard to all the good food and we've eaten in this dinky korean shop in like a dinky back alley, AMAZING pancakes at like one of the old convict buildings, GOOOD cina food and bla bla. tis wonderful tis is =D

That day we went to this asian grocery shop. ITS SO WELL EQUIPPED. I was ready to miss and crave msian food but i found like KIMCHI INSTANT NOODLES, instant laksa paste, tomyum paste, ALLLL the chinese sauces u can name and even.... DURIAN. hahahaha!! ohmygosh me n yen were like GIDDY after finding this aladdin's cave! kakaka.

omg i got a lot of crap to say. bear with me. Haha. today i met my FIRST well, sklmate/friend kinda thingy. I dunno. heh. ok it goes like this.

Mum and i were at the unilodge and i was talking to the receptionist. Near us were this hongkee/hongkie? dude and his dad. think they were signing up too or stg.

And his dad was VERY worried that his son got no friends! cause like come to this engrish land all alone ma. So i turned around from talking to d receptionist n found my mum chatting to his dad! then :

his dad asked me: can u speak mandarin??

me : ehh! errr yesss =D

Dad (very happily in very difficult to understand accented chinese): oh!! this is my son!! and thus ensued a cina convo for a little while, like ask me room number and all. Then i think, with his dad like pushing him the son gave me a paper and asked me like SOMETHING SOMETHING HAO MA?

ok me train of thoughts starting from when i turned around :

"what! my mum talking to this hongkees! eh what is this man saying i cant understand his chinese accent. OH ER ZI. he means son!! okok. crap i has to speaketh chinese. oh dear. okay introduce myself.. Help! CINA! what? stg stg hao ma?? crapp is he asking for hp num?? this horrible accent. he must be! i dowan to ask him to repeat, so NOOB. but i donwan to give random strangers my num! but my mum n his dad STILL talking ohhh my err what todo. er ok write lah! *afterwriting 4 digits..* OMG i think he meant ROOM number. shit shit. how to take back my number now i wrote 4 digits!! eee CRAPPP. how embarrassing! aiya just write my whole number la hope he doesnt call!!"

oh my n my cousin's apartment is PLAGUED with flies! seriously!! i dont know why! in 3 days the dead fly count is 87!! EIGHTY SEVEN FLIES IN THIS SMALL APARTMENT. and there is still one flying around. ANNOYING. damn scary ok! me n yen found them ALLL sitting on the window n we were SMACKING THEM AROUND. omg. with free phone catalogs HEH. aussie flies are SO FREAKIN EASY TO KILL! FAT N SLOW. n stooopid. HEHE. The scary thing is when u kill these flies.. they have BLOOD. aren't they sposed to hv only haemolymph. EEP. lol my first thought was that it aint NORMAL to have so many flies!! I thought like maybe these are actually humans who were condemned to be flies n we are actually massacre-ing human. Heyy... I know it has been ages since i blogged but there was nothing interesting for me to blog about anyway. Well... I m VERY bored at home... All alone... My parents and ying left for aussie for a week n i hv to stay in msia cause i hv collegee!!! Y does my holidays shud be a week earlier then the secondary schoolss!!!

Hmmm..... I hv to go college by following my college friend. She actually stays in the condo next to mine. So she's like my neighbour u noe.. Hahah. For the first day i wasnt used to it yet and i had to blast my ipod on the speakers so that the house isnt dat quiet. And it gets kinda freaky when it's around 11 or 12. Hehe...

I hate it when u guys are talkin bout ur driving tests, how ur parents dun let ur drive!!! I noe u ppl r gonna laugh at me when u noe dat i hvn even go for my undang kursus yet... Cant blame me u noeee!! I was suppose to go last week, then everybody left for aus. I think march shud be quite free for me but all of them have to go away.... Sucks... =(

College has been quite bored nowadays. Classes as usual. Legal studies is as boring as usual, I HATE accounts, dun reli understand her. Maybe i m juz not an a/cs person! Hahah... Oh!! We are havin issue analysis for english now. so we had to watch a movie called 'Enough' by J Lo n many more.. (cause i dunno their name =P) It's quite ok... Bout domestic violence. After we watch it we are gonna hv some individual interview bout it. Smth like oral n we hv to wear formal. Haha just like leo... We are gonna hv perform a unity song for Malaysian Studies. Alanna n I are gonna sing 'Stay' by Estrella. but the lyrics will be changed.. Hahah... I might record it. Well, duno yet. We'll see. =D

One More thing!!! I goin sky trekking this saturdayy!! HAHA!! At last!! Hope that i get to meet ze french guy! Hahah... Today we had donk's Sky Adventure Club's meeting. But only around 16 ppl turned up out of like 80+ ppl i think. Haha... Before the meeting started, Kim played the Barbie Girl song into the microphone. Jus was playing with this toy at toys r us before that. U hv to speak into it n it can change ur voice into alien, spaceman n robot. HAHA... Jus was quite hyper...

well this is actually a short one for Leng-Lei but decided to share it with you guys. my cousin's doing architecture at UCL right now.. and he says it's freaking hard. He laughs at himself when he talks about it too. For instance:(btw my couz's nicname is Ah Lun =P)

and soo... the dunderheads have left us for Australia!
Me, justina and esmonde saw them off at the airport.
when we met them, i was still feeling ok coz the fact that they were leaving for australia hasnt sunken in yet.
laughing and joking at mcd's like normal. They say we must get Skype. What's wrong with msn??
until, we were at the gates when they started hugging everyone.
then it got kinda sad... a few people were already tearing up. i think my eyes were kinda red too (aww).
after they walked past the gates, we still kept waving at them like morons until they reached the train and sped off.
they will be missed.
we shall see them again in december and karoake to our hearts' content.


blaaa... on the other hand, my college life will start in monday in mckl.
oh yea, and screw architecture! the architecture professor at Bartlett (top architectural school in da world) told me that if i want to be an architect, be prepared to be financed by parents for the rest of my life. NOH. NONONOnonono. NOOOH.

My greatest fear =.= But it turned out quite fun.. We should all go karaoke one day!! i'm serious! When i come back from aus okay??

and so! we finally got all our SPM results.
and stupid Mathews was revealing the results like some kind of sick game show, tormenting us with the suspense! AND SARA, you should sue her for psychological trauma! That idiotic woman!

Anyways...bout last week, my dad said he would give me ANYTHING if i got all As.

DAD : If you get all As, i'll get that handphone you wanted!

i took a few videos at the concert! at first i was kinda scared that they'd confiscate my camera since they took the trouble of checking everyone's bags upon entry for cameras. but then once the concert started you could see a MILLION CAMERA SCREENS lit up in the darkness so i just happily followed their lead :)

You know, when I first came into Taylor's I didn't expect much stress. Just 3 months into the programme and you can already feel it seeping in. The stress doesn't really come from work coz we don't have much homework except Literature. It's the exams in June that scare you. For A level students that is.

As most of you know, I'm taking Econs, Maths, Psychology and Literature in English. Econs stresses me out a lot when I don't undertsand how to apply the principles. the basic principles are simple, but it's when you have to write an essay that you somehow go blank at times. Not to mention I don't like my econs lecturer all that much. Really have to sit down and start doing my own notes, because the books don't help that much.

Maths is probably one of the more... stress-free classes. Coz we're covering Add maths syllabus again, but more in-depth and with some extra chapters like 3D vectors and Binomial Expansion.

Psychology is pretty cool. Our lecturer is a real psychologist and really knows what he is teaching. Real responsible guy and helps us arrange past year papers for us to practice =)
Only con is the amount of case studies we have to cover by the end of it all. He told us a story that day. There was a woman who came to him once for help. She said that she was always having problems of feeling rejected even by people who loved her very much. After going through her past and diagnosing the problem, my lecturer came to find that until 4 years of age, the woman's mother never touched her. There you go. Our subconscious minds do remember things that our conscious minds may never recall back. However it is stemmed into us and sometimes we just cannot figure out why we behave in a certain way. I guess this is one of those reasons.

Literature in English takes the cake. Never in my life have I ever encountered such a tough subject. Tough to the point that I don't just consider it as an exam subject anymore. It is just so much more. You have to come into class to see and believe. The amount of emotions that actually run through me when reading Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night'. The thinking.. the analysing.. the lessons in life. The disappointment. Never have I met with such an interesting and intriguing subject in school. Never have I encountered a subject I could not ace lol. That's coz they only teach us crap in WMS.

Being in the humanities has taught me so much more. I just don't feel like the same person I was before. This is what real education should be like. Education of the mind and soul, and not just to regurgitate facts out and expect high marks.

i'm bored.


well that's painfully obvious ain't it?

well, i'm not going to singapore anymore. why? Coz the Merlion got struck by lightning, and my mom went all Nostradamus and says Singapore's gonna sink.

hurr.... and that's one of the many reasons. The more important one is that Singapore's economy sucks. And the promise of instant job offered by Sg government after graduation may not come true. Schizer!
