games carnival was over last week! i feel so relieved and free of stress and everything...
strangely enough, now i feel like i can enjoy college life. mostly because, i also passed on my president post to andrew por. im pretty thankful for that. haha... i don't know if i should be disappointed with myself, but it wasnt what i expected from starting a club. it's so different from leo club, where everyone worries and helps each other and i had you guys to help out of sticky situations. here, i'm doing everything. and when it doesn't turn out right, i'm the only one feeling bitter about it and no one else cares. ugh.. a really sucky feeling ok! and then i get pissed and tire myself out and won't concentrate in class.
but now it's over! i only got the college magazine to worry about! i don't have to stay back late anymore and be sleep deprived! no need to get to college early and type shit. oh man, ZHIYEN secretary job SUCKS. how does anyone put up with it?? a week before games carnival, i was soo irratable! i mean, i was doing jobs which weren't mine! how did that happen?!? and people asking me all sorts of questions which had nothing to do with me! half way through the event, i just sat back and watched everything. everything seems better when u stop giving a damn about little things.
i jst skipped malaysian studies. MALAYSIAN STUDIES ON SATURDAY is not worth it! we should had a test on thursday, and i think i failed it. not malaysian enough i suppose. SO LAME LA WHY DO WE HAVE TO DO THIS?? can i jst declare myself singaporean and NOT do this?? ugh...
and SARA! it might seem weird, BUT I HAD A CONVERSATION LIKE THAT! it was in australia too! me and mabel were shitting in cubicles right next to each other. i think we talked pretty loudly coz we didnt want the ploop! sound to be too loud ahahahh!!
oh man i miss you guyss!! people in march batch are...uhh.. i dunno how to describe. they are like SHEEP. they go straight to college, then they go straight home. very unspontaneous! but i made a good friend! her name's beatrice (damn chun name haha) wheee she's so nice :)
i still wanna go karoake-ing. and i need to go shopping.

Helped my classmate baked my mum's Blue Ribbon Cookies. They were INCREDIBLY yum! sorry, trying to be humble but they were!. Think cause he overmixed the batter. They were sooooo soft and crispy on the outside. hehe. =D

Hahha okay so i have named this post like so cause i have no idea what else to name it. I have SO much to say i dont think i could finish typing it all without my fingers dropping off. ahaha. FIRST THINGS FIRST that rock papers scissors thing is ROFL FUNNEHH leng lei!! hahaa!

SOOOOO where did i leave off? oh yeah u guys can see pcis of wms concert on facebook me bro uploadeddd. But seriously, puteri gunung ledang??? WHAT were they thinking!!? sheesh man. and i agree! these kiddos are getting weirder and weirder every year. heheh notice the word KIDDOS? hahhaa us 18 year olds!! so old we are. SIGHS. i wanna be young again!! xD

oh yeah so been having hols for about a week. 2 more days and then i start skl on monday. 9 days of hols. NOT ENOUGH NOT ENOUGHHH. been SOOO busy everyday!! like so far we've gone ice skating (first time EVER) near macquarie university ( which is TINY). Ice skating is NO JOKE, hahhaha EVERYBODY looked unglam doing it hahhahaa. we were doing fine at first since we've rollerbladed before but then i tried learning how to stop and stuff and when u try to STOP u SWIVEL in a circle and end up on ur ass! hahaha. to avoid ending up on one's ass, one has to bend over to keep balance by sticking one's ass out, generally a stupid looking pose which ends up looking just as ridiculous as ending up on one's ass anyways. lol. but there were like some ppl like this indo guy called ryan and this china guy called jackie who've never rollerbladded before and OMG HAHA POOR THINGS, ryan fell 16++ times and like SUPER HILARIOUS falls like he tried to stop once by slamming into the wall but he couldnt grip the railing properly and he was like cartoon running there and then BAM. HAHHA. and like i was skating with this indo called tommy and we were trying to grab each other's hands to like fling the other person off cause i was trying to avenge the other ppl who tommy bullied by making them fall but ALAS tommy is heavier than me so I went flying. hahah that ice is HARD.

Oh yes, so iceskating, we've also sang karaoke (which reminds me i NEED to learn cantonese so i can sing with daniel, poor daniel no one to sing canto songs with hahaha) , gone shopping at DFO ( factory outlet, which resulted in a VERY SATISFYING 6 shirts for 42 AUSD EEE!! =] =] =] sorry though dad hehe) , baked cupcakes where we invented TONS of weird flavours like honey+kaya, apple+cinnamon, NUMEROUS VARIATIONS of choc cupcakes (nutella, maltesers etc etc), eaten TONS of good food (madang korean food [the seafood pancake is awesome], jap food, many cafes etc etc) and today i went for a class korean bbq buffet which was OH SO YUMMYY. the beef and pork there ^^! Ps dad: after this skl starts its back to stinging and saving money okayy??? =] peacee. hehehe.

Btw i have never bombed exams as badly as i bombed my Semester One exams which just passed.. i dunno why i did so terribly. its not like i didnt study.. its more like not enough time to do the exams. like i actually screwed up english. no time to think and plan the essay properly! they are SO stingy with their time limit!! and somemore they make us write the essay using FORMAL english and must have a certain format to it and stuff. GAH. how do they expect us to do that all in such a short time?? So my essay is like the worst i ahve ever written in my life. NO JOKEE GUYS. haha. and my PHYSICS. omg. i used to love physics.. like my pet subject. but then now HERE.. sigh. haha. they gave us these sample exams to do see? and the sample exams were like not too bad. but then in the actuall exam they TWIST all the questions around and require u to THINK to know what formula to apply and stuff. and the thing is i think i could do it, if they just gave us MORE TIME. there was seriously NO time to think about the question at all. and i guess i panicked too. during the last 10 minutes i was frantically trying to do this one question that i normally ace but somehow i got stuck. then i had this VAGUE idea of what i needed to do but i was too panicky and kan cheong to work it out logically so i jsut wrote a lot of crap and calculations of my vague idea which i think WOULD lead up to the answer if i had time to complete it. but oh wells. yes. very stressing. but im not really angry and stuff cause i like tried my best.. i DID study but its just the time limit. ugh.

so yeahh results will be posted online. first time collecting online results man! The hovering of the finger over the mouse, the dreaded click, the anticipation and suspense of that blank loading screen and then BAMM. the stark black-n-whiteness of those bits and bytes displayed on the screen that cannot be run away from!! and then the comfort eating will start. hahah. gahhh. i kinda dont want to know my GPA. it will be so depressing. =(

anyways on a different note, i THINK i speak like a hongkie sometimes when talking to my hk friends!! ahhaha! and my closest hongkie friend is starting to speak like a msian! HAHAH. so funny man. i have learnt a few canto words which how may i put it, are not very useful in real conversations HAHA. and i have a TON of canto songs now which i shall try to use to learn canto as well as to be able to sing with good ole daniel at karaoke next time lolll. that time we sang K (which was last night) that retard never heard poker face before and made it into POKAI face HAHAH. classic!! then we were all there singing puhpuhpuhpuhppokai facee. mo mo mo mommm. ahah!

hmmm what else? oh yes. i realise that here, i talk an AWFUL LOT about food! i dunno why! maybe its because im like taking care of my own dinner and stuff, i go like : HEY GUYS wouldnt it be great to try SO-AND-SO recipe?? and im forever blurting out recipe ideas or saying heyyy this restaurant is nice and stuff!! ahhaha im trying to stop it lest i become boring and sound piggish haha. but its not my fault food is SO NICE to talk about! SO since im stopping food discussion with my friends as they have heard ALOT adi, u guys will forgive me if i spew it out here yesh?? THANKS man i knew u guys would understand hehheheee.

SO. tml is one of our VERY RARE stay at home days. besides me MAYBE planning to play bball in the morning and we HOPE to go to the gym at like 12 noon. will tell u ppl if it works out hahahaa. and we are plannign to have like this BIIIIG pot luck dinnah tml!! im in charge offf... dadadaummm.. DESSERT! HAHHA. whooo. am suddenly in the mood to make carrot walnut cake! hahaha. with cream cheese icing? or mebbeh butter icing as cheese aint cheap. mmmm yummmm. and since some ppl dont like carrot walnut, If i have time i shall make chocolate cupcakes! or should i just make choc cookies?? gasp. maybe cupcakes though. heheh. UNFORTUNATELY my mum aint online nowww i shall have to source for a carrot walnut cake recipe online which is RISKY. hahahaa. wheee i LOVE baking! maybe since i did so badly in my exams i should just FORGET about commerce OR science next year and go for culinary arts eh? hahah. i seem to have no passion for all that so maybe my passion is FOOD ?? what do u guys think about that.!?!? hahah!

So after gym tml (hopefully) me, yen, yiin, melissa, kenny and roger are going to the supermarket HAHAHA. hilarious eh? what an outing. btw roger is my hongkee neighbour who can FREAKING MAKE SUPER DELICIOUS BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE FROM SCRATCH. HAHHAA. and its SO BIZARRE cause he's like this skinny dude who always plays pool and can pass as those hongkee bums but he BAKES HAHA. i was SO STUNNED when he let us try his cheesecake in the study room the other day. LOL and he was CUTE about it AHHAHA. and like he was telling us about how he put too much gelatine and stuff LOL. gosh man. sounds like my kinda guy! HAHHA. byebye cutie bballer and HELLO baker boy! HHAHA. kidding lahhh.

Hmmmmmm. Occasionally, on a rainy day, one might sit, laden with deep thought and soul-searching, and one might feel like one should be having these GREAT enlightening life experiences overseas and stuff. It is thought to be the time for self-discovery and living life to the fullest and broadening one's horizons. Maybe its just me, but i dont feel like im doing any of that here in Sydney. Unsettled and uncomfortable feelings arise. Certain factors have led one's thoughts stray to imagining studying uni in the US. Imagining one's self saying "I study in the US". Perhaps its the cliche of the grass is always greener on the other side. Maybe one just has to be content with one's own lot, one's own pasture. I wouldn't go so far as to say im bored here in Sydney, maybe its just cause we're still in Foundation so like i feel i havent done much living or many meaningful things or things where i can say THIS is where my life changed. Or maybe i AM doing that but its just too gradual a change for anyone to notice it, least of all moi. But who am i to say that i would get to experience all this in the US? Maybeh its the case of what u make of life. Maybe you've got to be the one being proactive, in search of all these enlightening, self-changing events. Thinking about the greener pasture gets one no where. Well, hence, i Have decided to be more out there. Make the most of it all. GET the most out of it all. Work my ass off and play my ass off to put it crudely. Pack each day with activities. =] However, these activities require money. So a chat with the parents is in order.. Also there are various life decisions to be discussed =]

Wouldnt go as far to say one is bored in Sydney. Just perhaps wanting to experience a change, a new situation? Perhaps US has a different, more interesting culture? Thus, have thought of alternative ways to achieve this. Maybeh join a dance class? Le out of comfort zone etc etc. Hahha. am a bit nervous. When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade right? or maybe in my case, lemon icing for my carrot cake tml xD ehheee. actually that aint such an appropriate idiom , its more like make the most of everything! and what for wallow in feelings of disoncentent =D Paps, its not that im discontent here dont worry! its just moi thinking of wanting do stg and be stg different and stuff =D ah wells.

i've been busy you see...

Games Carnival is this Saturday and im the stupid secretary. i hope everything goes smoothly.
i'm also head of graphics department of the college magazine, after i *ahem* kicked someone off the post *koff*koff* not my fault.
I've been staying back at college till 7 almost everyday, fooling around haha. for example today, i stayed back to play Taboo. awesome use of time

and for some strange reason, i dun have much hw :O
either that, or i just conveniently forgot them heh.

today was also Parents-Teachers Meet. my parents didnt go though woo!! managed to convinced them not to go!! i know my chem lecturer is itching to talking to my parents.

and then there's the Psychology Club, which is jst killing me. i hope i can concentrate on it after the games carnival..

HOMG I HAVE CLASSES ON SATURDAY FTW!!
2 hours of malaysian studies every saturday! WHAT A CRAPPY WASTE OF TIME!! URGH.

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates… Have been kinda busy this week… Having small tests almost everyday… dat’s the sucky thing bout july. it is the only month with 31 days n no holidays!!! =( I juz wanna update u guys bout wms school concert dat I went last Saturday…. I wouldn’t hv gone if I didn’t hv a free ticket!! Hahaha… My sis’s fren didn’t want the ticket. dats how I got the free ticket n this yr’s theme was Puteri Gunung Ledang. The concert was kinda funny cause they sing in bm but the actors speak in English. I didn’t pay attention to the whole concert especially to the dances…. all of them were alike. all malay dances… some of F5’08 students were there… like Jeremy, caroline, kay hwa, ching yoon, shun yong, shini, chai, boon siew, kumaresh n hoong min. some of them bought tickets because they thought they weren’t allowed to go in without a ticket. but actually ex students can go in for free!! haha!! Kayhwa bought VIP ticets somemore, 100 bucks!!!

Oh before I forget smth!! I think wms has a lot of weirdos now…. Before I went into the hall I was outside 5W replyin msgs, den dere is this dude… he came up to me n tried to take a pic (camwhore) wif me…. den I gave him dat look la… n I said ‘uhh… do I know u??’ damm weird ok.. den he ran away la… after dat I saw ching yoon coming towards me… dat weirdo tried to take ching yoon’s pic also… =.=” n then, during the 20 mins intermission, kayhwa, Jeremy, caroline n I were buying food drinks la… den there is this F2 dude…. he’s just weird… I duno how to explain it…. Arghh…. nvm…

The worst part about the concert is listening to matthew’s speech again… OMG…. I thought I dun need to listen to her voice ever again after honours day… Lol… I saw zhuo wei after the concert…. Had a little chat with him.. He doesn’t seem vry confident wif his Spm.. especially sejarah… oh well… I think he can do better if he memorize the whole book n spit the whole thing out… He said the current F4 ppl r hopeless… Haha… Ms leong scolded them… N, the leo board sucks now… Oh man, nobody can beat u lah leng lei!! Hahah Oh!! and zyen!! I saw ur dad (with his video cam), ur mum n zhi ying!!! =D I think they were late!! hahah!! Ur mum told me u n sara r having ur exams now… Good Luck n All the best yeaaa!!! ;)

AHHH. TWAS QUITE A GOOD WEEK GUYS.

hahahha. FIRST of all on wednesday i had my oral presentation for english. AND AND AND.. i woke up at 10.20 when my class started at 10. OMG THE FEELING IS THE WORST EVER. HAHAHA. homgg i JUMPED out of bed and ran to the bus stop and took a bus when my skl is like the next stop and then i RAN to class, running across all the red pedestrian crossing lights!! and my bag was SUPER FULL that day!! so yeah. hahah i arrived to class huffing and puffing away.. and yanked open the door... and kena laughed at by everyone. WOE IS ME. hahaha.

good thing was i was so rushed i didnt have time to get nervous about it hehee. to be honest i was quite high so i just thought like HECK IT just present only lahh!! and then i got my china friend to help me video it cause my dad wants to watch... lol super pai seh. hahah. and THENN... A+! whee!! hahah. but its only like 3 pathetic % of our final grade. but WHATEVER. hahahha.

NEXT was thursday. i was the FIRST GIRL (in a long time la) to shoot a bball in the unigym!! hahahahaa. okay fine i didnt really play la but on thursday there were extra few guys there. and i knew some of the ones playing. so i just went there and shoot a bit in jeans and sandals hahaha. oh wells! but STILL i DRIBBLED ON THE UNIGYM COURT. ok it doesnt sound so impressive when i say it like this but its a BREAKTHROUGH for me hahahaa. cause ppl in unigym are PRO. hahahaa. luckily i had QUITE GOOd shooting that day xD

and then next day is FRIDAY. went out for hot pot (steam boat =.=) with my classmates. FIRST ever class outing. hahha. ok so there is this cute china guy in my class that both me n charins find well, CUTE. HAHA. not leng zhai cute but like small boy/mickey mouse-ish cute. we call him cutie. then we always joke fight over him. then that day in eng class SUDDENLY this note written on a port-it LANDED btw us, inviting us to hot pot with them. HAHAHA. omg we were so high we were like OHOO lets GO man, double date with cutie! or maybe 3/4 of a double date lol. so i forsook yoga( YES I GO FOR YOGA SOMETIMES) and went for hot pot with CUTIE! HAHAH. with like 12 other ppl la.

and these guys can eat like PIGS. omg man. they ordered SO MANY plates to cook. sheesh! and i learnt this PRO style of eating steamboat ahhaa. must eat with like special sauce to dip in.. not noob soya sauce. hahah. quite yummy. luckily it was buffet or we'd all go broke. so like, quite nice la. at last the class is like TOGETHER. hahah sort of. well, charins is bttr at hanging out and clicking with the guys BUT im getting bttr at it. i think. LOL xD

AND AND YESTERDAY ME N YEN N COUSINS WENT FOR THIS GOOD FOOD AND WINE TASTING FAIR. it was seriously called that. HAHA. OH MY GOSH. IT WAS SO NICE MAN. like SO MANY STALLS OF FOOD. mostly sweet finger foods though. me n yen were in ehaven just SAMPLING AND SAMPLING. hahha. there was like high class cheese on crackers, health bars, chai latte, cakes, ice cream, a lot of like oil for dipping bread in, curry, italian stuff, nuts, coffee and A LOT A LOT A LOT OF CHOCOLATE AHHAA. omgg whittakers, ritter sport, cocoa farm, organic choc and TONS MORE. HHEH. HEAVENN. so u guys know what i ate the most of. xD xD

i was SO FULL MAN. i couldnt eat anything else for the rest of the day. and though i REALLY cant stand wine i just tried it haha. limitless ma!and i discovered i LOVE KAHLUA TO THE MAX. HAHAH. LURVE IT MAN. sooo nice!! the rest were quite hard to swallow. though japanese plum wine is GOOOOD. ahhhhh.

and last night helped charins to make a choc cake. her "secret" recipe. haha i now know the secret!! SHE FREAKING STUFFED IT WITH CHOCOLATE. TIM TAM, CADBURY WHITE AND MILK, MNMs, U NAME IT. its in it!! hahaha. MY GOODNESS.

so YAH. WONDERFUL 4 days. andd now i feel so guilty. am BROKE and needa studyy!! so i NERDED TODAY. i just finished nerding a while cause going to eat dinner. but later its BACK to nerding!

so i have to go now. and MAKAN. just wanted to quickly update u guys cause i feel quite out of it. ahaha. anyways the video of my oral .. i'll find a way to put it up then link u guys. HEH. OH DEARR. how embarrassing! lol.
